Generic Valtrex Specific Warnings and Precautions
Generic Valtrex Valacyclovir should not be administered to people with badly functioning immune systems (other than people with HIV) such as cancer patients and people taking immune-suppressing tablets (such as after a transplant).
Generic Valtrex Valacyclovir may not be effectual if started after three days of appearing shingles or genital herpes or a cold sore. Valacyclovir does not heal genital herpes. Hence you must avoid sexual contact if you experience an occurrence. It is better to always use condoms, to avoid transmission of genital herpes to others.
